Ah po's birthday

So here we are again, up up 40 storeys high. It's ah po's birthday. Umm 70 something I think. Suddenly can't remember. Anyway, wore my denim jumper in my favourite shade of denim. It was given to me by Vanni because her fat ass can't fit in. Heh. Anyway, brought my lappy there to do work again. Stayed in zhen's room almost the entire time, busy researching for neuro homework by Annu :/


I wanna do up something like this for myself too but I don't have my own room and right now my room already looks clustered enough. Next time when I grow up, have my own house, I wanna do this in my own master room filled with such pictures of me and my family. ^^

I never realized how much my grandma has aged. She seemed to have became thinner, quieter, less cheery. I don't know, I only see her once in a while, quite a long while. It suddenly stuck me that day and it made my heart ache a little. Remember when we were kids in our primary school days, we would go to her house almost every weekend or fortnight. But after the conflict that year, between my uncle and the rest, the number of gatherings reduced. And as we have all grown up and have our own busy life, we have even less gatherings together.

Love your parents. As we are growing up, we forgot that they are growing old too.
