Genting (10-12 Apr)

Day 1

At causeway point eating breakfast. I've no idea why was I so ridiculously hungry, at 6 am. 

Our coach was supposed to be Gold/silver (lowest) but we were lucky to get Platinum Deluxe. (highest) Spacious, movies channels, and games. The Pika-man (imitation of super mario) Weeeeeee.

Ate char kway tiao for lunch. RM 8.00+.

Waiting to check in at First World Hotel. Tower 2. Checked in the hotel and bacon spent 15 min ranting about how inferior our room was. Saying this was the worst worst worst hotel he'd ever been to. Small, noob tv, no sofa, no bathtub -.-" Duh, we bought the Groupon deal. Spoilt boy. After unpacking, we headed out for strawberry farm. Everyone told us different directions. Ugh. The taxt driver wanted to scam us: RM 80 for 2 way trip plus 1 hour waiting time for us. Whatttttt? No. In the end, we took a shuttle bus to Highland hotel, then cable car, then cab for RM 10 to the farm. Actually there was a van/tram that charged RM2 per pax, but we need to call the number and stuffs. In the end, we cabbed. The cab meter was only less than RM5 okay, but he already said RM10 and we agreed beforehand. Pssst.

Oh, look at all these strawberry babies. They made me so excited! RM6 for 100g of hand-picked strawberries. By the way, all these were the other many lanes that had juicy pretty strawberries, that were meant for sales -.- Only 5 lanes allowed for picking. The strawberries weren't as nice. I was choosing for quite long as i only wanna pick 100g because I'd be the only one eating them. I was slow in picking and most of the strawberries were gone. Because of this little hyped up Caucasian girl who cut any red strawberries she saw. She had got a huge basket of strawberries while mine was a pathetic little basket with only 7 strawberries. Lol. In the end we had to find those on the higher rack as she aimed all the short racks.
Aren't my strawberries pretty? :D We sat down at the cafe and drank strawberry milkshake...
And strawberry juice. Very fresh and yummy. :D Miss it so much. RM 10.90 each

after strawberry farm, there were also other farms like tomato farm, flowers✿ and mushroom farm. But the smell was unbearableeee. Anyway, we tried to find the damn mushroom farm (an eatery) as I read from a blogger that they have got nice and affordable zichar. In the end we couldn't find it and walked a very long distance and someone wanted to kill me already. And we still gotta walk back up to the strawberry farm to get back to the tram. And it raineddddd -.-

Return trip. We didnt know its this tram. I thought it was some normal white van. Awww. Like a excited only. But the strawberry tram was very shaky and kinda scary :\

Dinner: Bah kut teh and pig trotter in vinegar. Sudden craving for them. Very ex. RM55+ But they were delicious. Esp the bah kut teh. After dinner we went to the bowling arena and watched people play bowling. They were having some competitions. Their bowling was very different from us. Very dark with glowing luminous signs and music blasting.

All guys just love playing this huh. We earned the tix and gave them to the little boys.
Day 2


It's not that cold. but just wanna act like one winter season. Lol

Outdoor theme parkIn the morning, it rained again.☂ Ugh, we were so scared it'll rain whole day. Luckily it stopped by noon already. Sun was out.☀ RM 100 for 2. It's damn annoying because the rollercoaster rides were all closed! What's a themepark without rollercoasters. The cockscrew which I've been looking forward to, was closed. It's been yearsss since I played.

The water ride that got us quite wet.


While queueing for Viking ship. Someone's epic face was captured by the camera during the ride. LOL

We spend quite abit of money trying to catch these bears but we failed. We've no luck. The easier was the throwing ball corner. 3 balls for a prize and 4 for a jumbo prize. I only got 2 balls in - no prize :( By the way we kept bumping into one CHR senior and her bf, they got 2 little toys. By the way, that jumbo teddy I hugged wasn't even the jumbo prize. It's just for display. Our last try was at the shooting area to get that fluffy white bear. But its damn hard to shoot all 3 bowling pins totally out of the platform. So we concluded that we don't have such luck, and it's more practical to buy a teddy.

Our last ride of the day.

The steamboat buffet at 9.30pm. We ate till 11pm. No more rice. What the. In the end, our chef Bacon made his own phai thai. Yummy. It was late, and I kinda overeat and I've been eating very acidic stuffs: Strawberries (by the way, tho they looked red, not all are sweet), vinegar pig trotter and tomyam. In the end, at 3 in the morning I woke up and ls and vomited....Awful. The noise I made by moving around woke Bacon up and I told him I vomited :( He went around to find panadol and stuffs. Took care of me and wait till I fell asleep at 4 plus. He stayed up till 7 am looking after me while I already slept like a log. Thanks baby♥

Last day 

Bacon went back for bah kut teh while I'd frog leg porridge.Not nice.Wanted flower crab porridge but it wasn't available :(

Waiting for coach. This time we weren't so lucky. We got the Gold/silver coach.Kinda crappy and squeezy. No tv or games. Bacon kept saying it's like heaven and hell. Anyway, we just kept sleeping alot, as we both didn't slept well the night before, plus there were no tv or games. The coach got us back to the strawberry farm area (further down) at the departmental store for us to buy goodies. Bought crab ba-gwa but in the end gave it away to the locals as it wasn't allowed to pass custom. So angry. Couldn't find the tour guide when we wanna enquire. Bacon kept telling me that should be okay if not they won't sell. In the end I gave it away. Ugh..... Bought 200g of ba-gwa. RM 17! My stomach wasn't well, cant eat. Bacon didnt't like as it was fattening. Then we went back to cwp but it was too crowded, so in the end, we settled for KFC at admiralty. Yes, KFC, I was feeling better already and Bacon said okay :D

So that spells the end of my holidays. The next day (Fri) early morning 8.30am went back to school for FYP meeting. Now it's the weekend, but im staying home. Wanna rest more before school starts, soon. Need to research and everyone's busy. Bacon gotta prepare for his exams already. Here comes year 3. And I'm really dreading it.

Anyway, this is sorta a celebration for our happy early 9th.♥We both came back and were sick, or busy that we forgot to wish each other. :\
